SAG Awards: Winners List

SAG Awards Winners List

At the 2023 SAG Awards on Sunday night, “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” starring Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ke Huy Quan, and other cast members, won big and set a significant record.

Everything Everywhere All at Once multiverse movie won four top film awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and individual acting awards for Yeoh, Curtis, and Quan. This collection of wins established a historic milestone for “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” making it the film with the most SAG Award wins ever, according to a representative for the organization.

Michelle Yeoh was recognized for her Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. Brendan Fraser, star of “The Whale,” was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of a sad 600-pound man, which controversially required him to wear prosthetics to mimic the character’s larger frame.

The 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards were streamed from LA’s Fairmont Century Plaza on Netflix’s YouTube channel, deviating from longtime broadcasters TNT and TBS. The ceremony recognizes both television and film and is a reliable predictor of the 2023 Oscars, which will occur next month.
