Did you Know: that Jon Favreau auditioned for the role of Chandler Bing?

Friends, the most popular sitcom of all time, had a lot of guest actors. During its season, many competitors eventually became the central characters. Although Jon Favreau is well-known for his director role and playing Happy Hogan in the MCU, he could have quickly passed for a ’90s comic.

Friends featured some of the most elite Hollywood talents like Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Robin Williams, and others.

Jon Favreau played the role of Monica’s wealthy lover in 1997. In the end, nothing works out because Favreau’s character is too preoccupied with his side job of competing in the UFC octagon.

Jon Favreau has won several awards. He has directed many Big budget Hollywood movies and TV shows, including Iron Man, Chef, The Mandolorian, The Jungle Book, and others. He literally started Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) by directing Iron Man.

The actor/director of Iron Man played a hilarious character in Friends. What’s shocking is that Favreau may have been a regular cast member with a few little adjustments.

But when Friends premiered, Jon Favreau’s tenure there almost didn’t start. Booms Beat claims that while NBC was casting for the comedy, Favreau appeared in an audition for the part of Chandler. He obviously decided against accepting the job. Even still, it’s intriguing to consider how different it may have been if Matthew Pery hadn’t been a part of the program.

It’s reasonable to conclude that everything turned out flawlessly for all parties concerned, given Jon Favreau’s significant success.
