Did Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon hated working with Each Other on Friends?

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon played the sisters Rachel and Jill Green in Friends, who provided us with extraordinary situations in a few Friends episodes that we still recall.

Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston, has a younger sister named Jill, Reese Witherspoon. After hearing her father tell Rachel that she was the only daughter he was proud of, Jill arrives at Monica’s (Courteney Cox) apartment in search of Rachel. Jill’s father threatens to stop giving her money after she purchases a yacht, but she counters that it isn’t for her but for a friend.

She swears that she wants to become independent like Rachel to follow in her footsteps. But ultimately, this proves to be a fruitless attempt. Jill uses her father’s credit cards, which he took away from him, but she still memorizes the numbers to buy new outfits for her new life.

Things sparkle when she turns her attention to Ross, Rachel’s ex-boyfriend (David Schwimmer). The two embark on a date after reluctantly getting Rachel’s approval so she wouldn’t look envious. The truth behind Rachel’s discomfort with Ross dating his sister is revealed by Rachel.

Ultimately, Jill decides to stop being independent and start getting money from her father in the last moments of the episode.

Production reports state that the initial plans for Jill called for a six-episode story arc, but Jil quit after just two. There are rumors that there were conflicts between Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston on filming that led to this.

Everything was denied, and Reese Witherspoon said that Aniston treated her well. Reese also confessed that working in front of live audiences terrified her, so she chose not to return to the show.

They begged me to return, but I had to decline. I simply could not.
