According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill’s Superman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will no longer appear in the next DC Studios’ next film, The Flash, from 2023. Following discussions with James Gunn and Peter Safran regarding the future of DC’s cinematic adaptations, Cavill declared that he would no longer portray Superman in upcoming films. Gunn has hinted that he will be officially scrapping the universe created by Zack Snyder with his first film, Man of Steel.
A few weeks ago, Henry Cavill announced he was officially back as Superman. Cavill was reportedly paid $250,000 Million for each DCU cameos he filmed this year. He also made a notable Cameo in Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, which, as the number suggests, is a box office flop. Because of this, there is an unlikable chance for Black Adam 2.
This was a bad week for DC fans, as bad news came one after another. The DC Extended Universe, which began with 2013’s Man of Steel, is drawing to an end with Jason Momoa and Patty Jenkins’ version of Wonder Woman 3 no longer moving ahead. Wonder Woman 3 with Gal Gadot is also canceled, meaning that Gal Gadot’s days playing Wonder Woman are officially over.
