Deadpool 3: Cast, Plot, Release Date and Everything We Know So Far

Deadpool 3 Cast Plot Release Date and Everything We Know So Far

Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his iconic role as Wolverine, joining forces with Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3, a project that no one could have foreseen.

Under the direction of Shawn Levy, known for his recent work on Free Guy, the third Deadpool film promises a fresh dynamism to the franchise. With Disney acquiring the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four in 2019, Deadpool 3 becomes a massive moment for mutants, officially integrating them into the vast tapestry of the MCU.

Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige, has confirmed that Deadpool 3 will indeed be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although the exact extent of its integration remains a tantalizing mystery. As we’ve witnessed in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the ongoing Multiverse Saga has defied expectations by weaving characters from different Spider-Man timelines together. Similarly, Deadpool 3 may explore a crossover of characters from the 20th Century timelines and the MCU, although concrete details elude us at this stage.

Will Deadpool 3 be Rated-R?

Crucially, both former Disney CEO Bob Iger and Kevin Feige himself have publicly stated that the third Deadpool installment will honor its predecessors by maintaining its signature R-rating. This means the film is poised to embrace the edgier elements that endeared Deadpool to fans worldwide, with explicit violence and unfiltered language unabashedly taking center stage.

Director Shawn Levy has confirmed in an exclusive interview with Collider that Deadpool 3 will unapologetically cater to adult audiences. Brace yourselves for a thrilling adventure that will push boundaries and continue to showcase the wisecracking antihero in all his audacious glory.
