Christian Bale is one of the most adored and admired performers in the world of Cinema. Currently, he is on a press tour for David O. Russell’s movie “Amsterdam,” and he isn’t hesitant to use the occasion to compliment another Hollywood celebrity. “When someone gets any role, it’s only because he has already said no to it first, It doesn’t matter what people tell you. It doesn’t matter how good of friends you are with the directors. All the people I’ve worked with repeatedly offered every single one of those roles to him first.”

DiCaprio expressly declined the role of Patrick Bateman in the 2000 film American Psycho, One of the most iconic roles of Christian Bale.
