10 Series to Watch if you love Friends

10 Series to Watch if you love Friends

Friends have been off the air for 18 years. Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Leblanc, and David Schwimmer starred in the show. It is one of the most admired television shows ever. The show ran for over ten years, and millions of people followed the antics, romances, and struggles of a group of six friends in New York. So while enjoying your munchies, we suggest other TV shows for you if you want to see anything new.

So here are 10 Series to Watch if you love Friends:

Seinfeld

Seinfeld is a sitcom that premiered in the late 1980s and featured Jerry Seinfeld, an actor who lends his surname to the program and will use his name to create a sitcom. Seinfeld is a postmodern sitcom that gained notoriety for being unlike anything else seen on television before in the sitcom genre.

Unsurprisingly, Seinfeld has frequently been compared to Friends. Seinfeld depicts the protagonist’s and his friends’ everyday lives. These people are about thirty years old and have no idea what they want to accomplish with their lives.

How I met your mother

Once more, we find ourselves in front of a group of thirty-something New York-based buddies juggling a job, relationships, and an all-around pessimistic existence. The show concentrates on Ted, the protagonist’s growth as he searches for his soul mate.

Episodes

Episodes, starring Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey in Friends, is a little jewel almost entirely forgotten.
The plot of Episodes centers on two British screenwriters who, following the popularity of their program in their own country, decide to go to Hollywood to work on a comedy series based on their original work. LeBlanc wants to return to television when Friends finishes after they reach the land of the stars. Unfortunately, the two writers learn they must create a substandard show for Matt LeBlanc. The actor portrays himself in the episodes.

David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) and James Michael Tyler (Gunther) also made a cameo on the show.

Scrubs

Scrubs is the type of sitcom that Friends fans would like, even though the setting could not be more dissimilar. Scrubs depicts the story of a group of medical students and later physicians who work at the Sacred Heart hospital and struggle daily to overcome their doubts and concerns in addition to the illnesses they are tasked to treat.
Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox have made guest appearances on the show.

Modern Family

Modern Family is characterized by a narrative structure that mimics mockumentary or fake documentary rules. The show revolves around Three contemporary California families who cope with their children, eccentric spouses, and occupations in their distinctive ways, frequently getting themselves into amusing situations.

The Office

The Office employs mockumentaries in a similar way to Modern Family. However, unlike that program, the audience must cope with the documentary team in The Office. A bunch of employees who are everything from heroic is struggling to remain afloat in a regional office under the direction of an unskilled boss who believes he is attractive, Michael Scott, played by Steve Carrell.

The Big Bang Theory

The sitcom The Big Bang Theory centers on Leonard and Sheldon, two bright physicists with the “beautiful brains” necessary to comprehend how the world functions. However, none of that brilliance helps them communicate with others, especially women. But when a free-spirited beauty named Penny comes in next door, everything starts to change.

Two and a Half Men

The show’s protagonist is Charlie, a playboy by nature and jingle writer by profession. After twelve years of marriage, Charlie is forced to alter his behavior and learn to manage his drinking, smoking, gambling, and womanizing when his recently divorced brother and his kid require housing.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

As they patrol the NYPD’s 99th Precinct, Det. Captain Ray Holt, an eccentric new commanding officer, takes over the 99th precinct of the Brooklyn Police Department. Investigator Jake Peralta is a gifted but slacker detective who is used to doing whatever he wants. Jake Peralta and his colorful, endearing coworkers are followed in the Comedy series.

New Girl

Jess, a quirky young lady, moves into an attic apartment with three single males following a horrible breakup. The males generally favor her, even though they find her behavior odd. Jess is a bubbly, off-beat teacher known to burst into song.

Honorable Mention

Joey, the Friends spinoff

The final piece of advice we have for you is a bonus honorable Mention because the show itself is not noteworthy. In this Friends spinoff, Matt LeBlanc reprises his role as Joseph Tribbiani from Friends. Joey relocates to Los Angeles to be near one of his seven sisters, Gina Tribbiani, and his Nephew, Michael, to further his acting career. Although the series lacks personality and is faceless, we felt compelled to highlight it because it is a narrative that somehow takes place in the Friends world.
