House of the Dragon: Milly Alcock and Emily Carey says Goodbye to the series

Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock) and Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey) have transformed from uninterested teenagers in the Red Castle gardens to the contentious heir to the Iron Throne and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms in just five episodes.

The upcoming time leap in House of the Dragon Episode 6 will be the largest in the series, so it’s time to say goodbye to Alcock and Carey when Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke assume their roles as the Rhaenyras and Adult Alicent, respectively.

As the first season of House of the Dragon nears its conclusion, both actresses have established the foundation for the upcoming episode by working so hard to define their characters.

Milly Alcock remarked There has been a strong sense of exhilaration, anxiety, and panic. But there has also been this really comforting knowledge that Emily and I will be able to continue doing this for the rest of our lives. Having the assurance that nothing is going to crumble beneath you is something that every actor dreams about.

Although the fans are unhappy that the actor’s time on the show has ended, it was an “appropriate finish” for their characters. However, some fans still hope that Milly and Emily appear in different flashback scenes in season 2.

Before her final appearance on the show, Alcock posted several behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram. Many sweet moments can be seen in the pictures, including Alcock and Carey hugging each other.
