The first teaser for Lucky Hank, a new TV series starring Bob Odenkirk, has been released by AMC. Odenkirk’s participation in the show comes following the enormous success of the latest season of Better Call Saul.

Lucky Hank Plot

Lucky Hank, a new TV series, is based on the 1997 novel “Straight Man” by Richard Russo. The show centers around William Henry Devereaux Jr., the English department chair at Railton College, a financially challenged institution located in the rust belt region of Pennsylvania. The plot of the novel and the series revolves around Devereaux, an individual with anarchist beliefs, as he navigates through a tumultuous week characterized by conflicts with colleagues, uncertainty about his wife’s fidelity, an internal struggle with his attraction to a young adjunct professor, and reflections on his complicated relationship with his father and his mortality.

Lucky Hank Cast

Mireille Enos will be joining the cast along with Diedrich Bader, Sara Amini, Cedric Yarbrough, and Suzanne Cryer.

Lucky Hank Release Date

Lucky Hank will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on March 19.
