Blade is finally in production with Mahershala Ali

Kevin Feige confirmed that the eagerly anticipated Marvel movie, “Blade,” starring Mahershala Ali, will commence filming within the next 10 weeks. Fans of the franchise will be delighted to know that after a bump in the road last year when original director Bassam Tariq stepped down in September, Yann Demange will now take over as the director of the vampire blockbuster. “It’s going well, Our director Yann is down in Atlanta right now. Cameras roll in, like, the next ten weeks or so.”

Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross in Captain America 4

Harrison Ford is taking over the role of Thaddeus Ross from William Hurt. Ross, now the President of the United States, will be in conflict with Sam Wilson’s Captain America.

The Marvels will be like The Avengers

Feige also discussed The Marvels, with Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan set to be the centerpiece of the film, even comparing it to The Avengers, stealing the show from Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris. Feige expressed his excitement to see the three actresses on screen together, teasing what is sure to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.

“There’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala (Iman Vellani) and Carol (Brie Larson) together in a frame. To me, it’s only akin to the first ‘Avengers’ movie and seeing the six of them together in a frame. It’s chill-inducing.”

Feige’s comments give hope to fans who have been eagerly awaiting news about the next phase of the MCU. With beloved characters set to return and new stories waiting to be told, the Marvel universe is only set to get bigger and better in the years to come.
