GoFundMe Shuts Down $1Million Amber Heard’s Fundraiser to Help Pay Johnny Depp

The Jury in Fairfax, Virginia, Concluded that Depp should receive more than $10 million in damages after Heard wrote an op-ed in which she described herself as a victim of abuse. Naming Johnny Depp as the Clear winner of the Trail.

Though, Heard herself has been awarded $2m in damages comments made by Depp’s former lawyer, Still she owes Johnny $8 Million.

Immediately after the result, a fundraiser titled ‘Justice for Amber Heard’ was established on GoFundMe.

A fundraiser, created by someone named Kimberly Moore, was set up to help Heard. Moore claimed to have made contact with Heard’s legal team and also told that Amber would have direct access to all the money which will will be raised.

With a goal of $1m, the GoFundMe page claimed to want to ‘help’.

The page’s description in detail: “I believe Amber, and social media protected the abuser. The judgment exceeds her net worth. It’s so sad that he was able to get away with the abuse. The judgment furthers that abuse. If you can please help her. She will have direct access to the money. I also contacted her attorney so they can loop her in.”

A spokesperson for the fundraising site told TMZ they were able to flag the profile before a substantial amount of money was raised.
