Who takes on the Mantle of Black Panther after Chadwick Boseman's Death? | Spoilers

Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, decided that after Chadwick Boseman's death.

His character would also pass away, and a new Black Panther would be born in Wakanda Forever.

Chadwick passed away from colon cancer at the age of 43 in August 2020

Ryan briefly thought about recasting T'Challa but decided against it because it would be unfair to any actor joining the MCU and having to replace Boseman.

"For somebody else to be him, for us in the world that we created, we wouldn't have believed it. No matter how good the actor was, it would've been lacking the necessary truth for us to do a good job," he explained.

T'Challa's younger sister is the true hero of the film.

Shuri had never experienced a day apart from him. She would be the most unmoored by his death since he had always been there.
