Sydney Sweeney, who is in the show Euphoria, has talked about her money and said that she doesn’t make enough to live.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter recently, the star of the popular HBO show said that she does not make as much as you might think and can’t afford to take time off to live the celebrity life.
The rising star said, “I don’t have enough money to take a six-month break if I wanted to.”
“I don’t have anyone to help me or pay my bills. I don’t have anyone I can turn to for help.”
The 24-year-old model said she isn’t poor because she has beauty campaign deals with Miu Miu, Laneige, and Armani, but her day job doesn’t pay that much.
Sydney Sweeney said, “They don’t pay actors as much as they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals.”
“The big stars still get paid, but I have to give my lawyer five percent, my agents ten percent, and my business manager three percent or something like that.
The Emmy-nominated actor said, “Every month, I have to pay my publicist more than my mortgage.
“If I only did acting, I wouldn’t be able to stay in LA. I have to make deals, so I do.”
The New York Post says she isn’t paying a mortgage on a small two-up, two-down, but on a $3 million mansion in Los Angeles with a view of a golf course from the front porch.
It’s not in a community with gates like some other mansions in the area, so fans can quickly drive by and take pictures.
Sydney Sweeney said, “I couldn’t believe I could even buy a house.” “I wish I could stay there.”
To be fair to the star, she came from a low-income family and talked about how hard it was for her parents to move to Los Angeles when she was 13 and wanted to be an actress.
“We had one room to live in. She remembered, “My mom and I shared a bed, and my dad and little brother shared a couch.”
