The latest update to the iPhone’s Siri feature will now allow Harry Potter fans to use spells seen in the movies and books to control their phone.
So get your wand, Potterheads. The only thing you need is an iPhone device to have fun with three of the franchise’s spells.
How To cast the spells:
Saying Lumos will turn on the iPhone flashlight, and saying Nox turns it off. Saying Accio, followed by the name of a specific app, will launch that app. For example, “Accio Reddit!”
Some other spell ideas, which the user can configure themselves, are: Lumos Maxima to increase the screen brightness to maximum, Silent to activate Do Not Disturb mode , Sonorus to turn the volume to maximum and Quietus to the opposite , making the iPhone silent. The possibilities are endless…Just make sure to check that ‘Hey Siri’ is activated on the iPhone and users can do this by looking for it in the device’s Settings.
