Jared Leto’s Morbius is coming out very soon, and Marvel fans think Spider-Man will appear in the movie.
After many delays, the movie Morbius will hit theaters , where Jared Leto plays a Marvel character who becomes a vampire and must decide if he is a hero or a villain. After the latest date change, all fans are convinced that they will add a Spider-Man cameo, although it is not clear if it will be Tom Holland or Andrew Garfield .
Michael Morbius was born with a rare blood disease, as an adult he has become a renowned doctor who tries to find a cure. That is why he travels to the Amazon jungle to investigate some bats whose blood could be the key. As his health deteriorates and he is running out of time, he experiments on himself and receives incredible powers such as strength, speed and flight ability, but also has a terrible thirst for human blood. So he must fight against his instincts and bring out the hero that he carries within him.
During a recent interview, Jared Leto spoke about his Morbius and why he had chosen the project: “It’s a different version of the Marvel universe, and it’s a completely new character and I’m very excited to share that with the public.”
Then they asked him if Morbius was going to face Spider-Man and he answered with a smile:
Well… I would love to get in the ring with Spider-Man. I think Tom Holland is amazing, and I think we’d make a pretty dynamic duo.
So for now, we don’t know if Spider-Man will be in the Morbius movie . But if that happens, it will probably be the Tom Holland version . Something that would be very logical, since Venom crossed over into the MCU and we know that he also exists in the “reality” of Jared Leto ‘s character , so new jumps could occur without any problem.
The Morbius movie will be released on April 1, 2022.
