Lisa Kudrow Really wants a FRIENDS Reboot

The One Where Friends Start All Over Again? Lisa Kudrow, who played Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courteney Cox), Joey, Chandler, and Ross, are six friends living in New York City. For all ten seasons of Friends, Kudrow played the weird Phoebe Buffay, which ran from 1994 to 2004 on NBC and had 236 episodes. Phoebe, who plays one of the friends on Friends, says she “would love to see” an updated version of the show (David Schwimmer). At the premiere of her new movie, Better Nate Than Never, a Disney+ Original, Kudrow was asked about a Friends reboot or revival:

I didn’t think Friends would have a new season. On Where is the Buzz, Kudrow talked about the original cast but not with anyone else. “I’d like to see a remake with different actors. I’d love to hear what that would sound like now.

In 2017, when she said the group would hang out outside the show, Kudrow killed any hopes for a comeback.

On “The Today Show,” she said she didn’t think an official reunion would happen. It sounds like fun, but what would be going on? Think about it. The show’s best feature was that all the characters were in their 20s and had their own families. What should we watch now that everyone has a family?

Seventeen years ago, Friends ended, but Kudrow and her co-stars haven’t lost touch all got back together for an HBO Max special called Friends: The Reunion last year. Aniston said in 2018 that she “dreams” of working with her Friends co-stars again to make more episodes.

People were already asking what we were going to do. That show again before it was even over. “I talked about it with Courtney and Lisa,” Aniston told the magazine InStyle. “I think about it in my dreams. There is no other job like it that I’ve ever had. I don’t know what it would look like, but anything could happen. A lot of shows are starting over and doing well.

In the same year, Schwimmer said, “Friends is not on break, and there won’t be another “One Where They Get Back Together.”

And on the Megyn Kelly Today show from 2018. Schwimmer made a joke about a sequel series by saying, “Look, the point is that I’m not sure if I need to see all of us together. canes and walkers.” “I don’t think so,” she said.
